2019 Vingence

2019 Vingence

The best barrels from the best lots of the vintage come together to create an always unique blend. All fruit comes from vines 25 years or older, 50% Cabernet Sauvignon from the 40 old Norman Vineyard plantings now owned by Brecon and is some of the oldest surviving Cabernet Sauvignon in Paso Robles. 20% Syrah from the terraced Glenrose Vineyard planted in 1994, 20% Grenache and 10% Zinfandel from the 30 year old Mcgourty Ranch vines. These vineyards show their maturity in concentration, and are perfected suited for what is always an eclectic blend. Grapes were fermented separately and blended 3 months before bottling. All were fermented in open top fermentors for between 18-30 days and aged in small French oak barrels of which 50% were new.
