Aged for 18 months in 50% new oak with the remaining aged in once filled or neutral barrels. This bottling consists of two separate lots from two Adelaida district vineyards, 90% of the fruit in this blend comes from the Rancho del Cielo vineyard. The fruit was harvested and split into equal sections of Grenache, Syrah, Mourvedre and co-fermented
using native yeast and a 20% whole cluster ratio. The wine was fermented on skins for 21days utilizing an extended 10 day maceration after primary for a total of 31 days on the skins. The remaining section of the blend consist of our own estate Grenache also fermented with native yeast in 1/2 ton vats, it contributes just enough percentage to put the Grenache in the majority. Its fruit forward attributes help balance the weight and structure of the Syrah and Mourvedre and ensure not only balance on the palate but in the flavor and aroma of the wine as well. Enjoy now through 2035.
