2007 Syrah - Ogorsolka Vineyard
Keeping this lot a vineyard designate has enabled us the ability to showcase a wine that accompanies both a sense of place but a sense of style to benefit from the terroir of the Templeton gap. Fermented with 20 % whole clusters for 16 days followed by 36 months in 100 % new American and Hungarian oak. The bright fruit is ushered in with subtle layers of bread, cola, mushroom, black peppercorn, floral and vanilla flavors each intertwined with the next. Drink now or hold for 3 years. 100 cases produced.
