Rich and dark this Syrah from Starr vineyards has white pepper, spearmint and sweet oak aromas. Gamey/spicy flavors balance and complement the medium body from start to finish. Great companion to grilled foods. Aged 30 months in 60 % new and 40% neutral French oak barrels. Bottled in May of ’09.
